![]() I was told not to worry because they didn’t expire. Due to a sudden severe chronic illness I was unable to use my 11 sessions. I am very pleased with the outcome, will most definitely use my bank of floats and may consider becoming a member again.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Buyer beware - don’t buy too many sessions or you could lose them if you have an unexpected situation that prevents you from using them right away.I was previously a member of this float spa. She was able to reinstate my floats with the understanding that they will now expire 6 months from now. Even with the change in ownership, she was familiar with the “original” members and policies that used to be in place when floats never expired. I received a call from the site Manager who researched the situation further. UPDATE: originally a 1 star review changed to 5 stars. Thank you for being here! I’m in the middle of a mental health crisis and this has helped me more than you know! Just the fact that she checked on me was enough for me to be so gracious of this service. The owners partner called me and checked on me after my first visit and gave me an Amazing offer for treatment and I accepted. For the first time in weeks I had a day where at least an hour of my day I was not frantic or suffering from my own self destruction and I am going in again today for my second treatment. Counted breaths to 300 which for me was hard but it helped me relax. I was fullyAware of all expectations.I got in the pod and did what the instructions from the video told me to do. Upon walking back with the specialist she gave me recommendations and what I may or may not experience during my hour in the room. ![]() And educated on what to expect before going into the pod. My first float went like this.I called for an appt which was accommodated without card info and I felt good about this.I was greeted by the nicest woman. I knew going in that it’s going to take more than a few sessions for the benefits to really kick in so I’m invested. Relaxing, shutting down, and just being content with the now is very hard for me.When I went into this I was not expecting my experience. This review is based off my first visitI am bipolar and have a personality disorder. I don't know if I'll end up having to see an ENT specialist or not. My left earplug leaked, and that water went far into my ear and I'm still having problems with it months down the road. So don't let that deter you! Feeling weightlessness is kind of mind-blowing, you know? I think everyone should at least try it once! If you're going to try floating, I definitely do recommend True REST Powell.Word of advice: Just be very very careful that you fit the ear plugs they provide to your ear 100% exactly and very snugly. Especially because it's a cool experience otherwise. However, that's a very "me" thing and I'm disappointed it's the case, of course. Unfortunately, floating wasn't compatible with my body for whatever reason, and I had to discontinue my float about 15 minutes in due to not feeling well. The pod rooms are really nice, very pretty and well-kept. It really does feel like entering a vacation spa, and I was really impressed at the kindness and courtesy of the staff. I visited the Powell location, and I was really impressed how beautiful the location is. I don't know if I'll end up having to see an ENT specialist or not.EDIT: Yes, in fact it's now much later, I am now going to have to see an ENT so that's fun! ![]() ![]() Unfortunately, floating wasn't compatible with my body for whatever reason, and I had to discontinue my float about 15 minutes in due to not feeling well (and just for the record you do not get any money back if this happens).
